Well last year the VMworld party was the talk of the planet for months afterwards. This was going to take some beating.

Now I am not sure that this year was as good as last year.

Held at Treasure Island (just over the Bay Bridge) there was an outside area with a stage, food, drink and fairgound style games. Inside there were a number of “clubs” including a comedy club, 60s’bar (complete with hippies and strange substances), Jazz and Blues bar, sports bar and loads more.

The headline act was Smash Mouth. Yes that was my thought too but a quick google told me they are higher up the scale than nobody but maybe not quite somebody

So there was plenty to do but it was not as much fun as last year however it was still a good night out with lots to eat, drink and do.
