This is one of those things that does not sound very interesting but is actually really cool.
Last year I blogged about some really cool stuff that Microsoft had been doing with National Rail Enquiries.

Anyhow, several months have lapsed and I was beginning to wonder if this concept was ever going to make it to reality.
Well good news.
I have today discovered that at least part of this concept is now reality and really neat Outlook Add-In can now be downloaded (for free) from the National Rail Enquiries Website.
As you will see, this can be a really useful tool if like me you rely on your Outlook calendar to organise your day. The ability to set up an appointment for a meeting and then let this tool work out how to get there via train really can save a lot of time.
